Listening to the Holy Spirit

I was on my way to work this morning, running late for a conference call, and thinking. It's a long drive to work.  Thirty minutes in car is a good opportunity to take care of a lot of brain work.  It's a great time to listen to Family Talk Radio on XM.  Focus on the Family comes on at 8:00. I missed all that but got in on the end of Living on the Edge with Chip Ingram, which is a favorite.  I was sort of half listening when Chip said, "You can pray with your eyes open."  I didn't hear what that was related to, but I thought, "Yeah.  I can do that."  So I did.  While I was praying for our country (while driving (with my eyes open)), the Holy Spirit spoke to me.  WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS TO YOU, LISTEN.  Seriously.

So here's the deal:

I need you.

To help me

to help these guys

to help this guy

Get fresh water for these guys (and gals)

Jason Clayton and Kyle White from www.godolove.org (check out there Facebook page GODOLOVE) are helping Pastor John (Max Henry Lorient) in Merger, Haiti, put in a water system so that he'll have clean water at the ready to serve the 100-120 kids he feeds every single Saturday. They need $515 more to give him that water that will allow him to expand his ministry.  EVEN MORE KIDS would get to play football (or futbol if you're Haitian) and eat every Saturday!!  That would be awesome!   They need it by Friday. THAT'S IN THREE DAYS.

I'm having a MAKE OFFER SALE on everything in my shop to help fund this.  If there's anything in my shop you like, make an offer using the convo feature.  No reasonable offer will be refused (assuming you're the first offer).  I'll change the listing and you can purchase for the agreed upon price (plus any applicable tax and shipping).  All funds (I'll need to use the shipping you pay for shipping and sales tax for sales tax but everything else) up to the full $515 will go toward this mission.

If the Holy Spirit has been talking to you, now's the time to step up and get some art to boot!

Here's my shop link.  LeissnerArt  Please go and clear the place out and let's go DO love all for the glory of God.

xoxo Lori
